Heather Eudy
Research Analyst
Heather Eudy joined the Center for Child and Family Policy as a research analyst in January 2025. She serves as a community navigator for the Community Navigation Study.
Eudy obtained a B.S. in human development and family studies with a concentration in child life from the University of Alabama. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist with experience providing psychosocial support to pediatric patients and families in both outpatient and inpatient hospital and medical settings.
Her research interests center broadly around early childhood development, prevention of child maltreatment, mitigating the effects of childhood adverse experiences, trauma-informed care, and cultivating child and family health.
Outside of work, she enjoys being a mom, distance running, the occasional jigsaw puzzle or embroidery project, and frequenting local coffee and ice cream shops in Durham.
