Rebecca Woodard

Rebecca Woodard began her career with Duke University in the Department of Psychiatry. She led the Great Smoky Mountains Study’s Cherokee Reservation Team from 1992 until 2017. Since that time she has worked on a C*StARR project and is currently a clinical research specialist working with Ken Dodge on the NIH grant NICHD: Intergenerational Persistence of Treatment Effects in Human Capital Interventions which involves revisiting the original 1,420 participants of the Great Smoky Mountains Study. She is also working on the Intergenerational Transmission of Resilience to ACEs project.
