Myra Jimenez
Overview
Miroslava “Myra” Jimenez is a bilingual Senior Research Data Tech on the Midlife Health Inequities in the Rural South: Risk and Resilience study. She is skilled in patient communication and data collection, and works to ensure smooth trial operations and data accuracy through extensive outreach. Myra is passionate and dedicated to contributing to discoveries that can improve health outcomes through efficient clinical research practices. Prior to coming to Duke, she worked for the State of North Carolina as a Health and Safety Compliance Officer in the western part of the state.
Myra was born in Texas, raised in Florida, and has called North Carolina home since 1997. She lives in Kenly, NC with her family, and enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends and visiting the beach. She also has a passion for helping others, and in her spare time she and her children organize and execute different drives such as for food, clothes, school supplies and Christmas toys.
