M. Eugenya Rodriguez
Senior Research Aide
M. Eugenya Rodriguez joined the Parenting Across Cultures (PAC) team as a senior research aide and is primarily responsible for interviewing families. In addition to interviewing for PAC, she also works as a bilingual home visitor for Durham Early Head Start.
Previously Rodriguez worked as a research assistant on the CHAMACOS study conducting neurodevelopmental assessments with children throughout their infancy and toddlerhood; collected biological samples and conducted cognitive assessments with mothers. Rodriguez also worked as bilingual data collection specialist for RTI International-Call Center. She conducted telephone interviews for multiple research projects using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system.
Rodriguez received a B.A. in sociology from University of California Santa Cruz. She is trained as a facilitator/parent educator in the Incredible Years Parenting Program, and she is a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety technician.
Rodriguez was born in Northern California, raised in Mexico and grew up traveling between the two countries.
