This presentation will explore why men and fathers are underrepresented in early childhood research studies and additionally consider why there are few men who are early childhood researchers. It will identify the prevalence of these issues, consider potential consequences, and offer recommendations through both didactic presentation and, most importantly, open conversation among those who attend.
