Sarah Vang

Programmer Analyst I

Sarah Vang joined the North Carolina Education Research Data Center (NCERDC) at the Center for Child and Family Policy in September 2018. As a programmer analyst, she processes large administrative files by means of reading, cleaning, and standardizing input files by writing SAS programs. She also provides technical documentation and user-friendly codebooks while managing directory access the the NCERDC for approved data users at Duke and other institutions across the United States.

Prior to joining the Center, Vang was an application specialist at Atrium Health where she sourced, merged, and maintained data from multiple internal and external relational databases by programming SAS and SQL to satisfy research requests from clinical practitioners, residents, and external clients.
