Anna MacDonald joined the Center for Child and Family Policy in March 2020 as the development director for Family Connects International (FCI). She brings nearly a decade of experience resourcing nonprofits to support the health and well-being of people and communities. MacDonald enjoys working collaboratively with diverse partners to advance programs like FCI that demonstrate equitable, systemic outcomes.
A Durham native, MacDonald previously worked for organizations that support basic social safety-net services, child mental health, and sustainable food and farming systems.
MacDonald holds a B.A. in journalism and mass communication and an MSW from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in addition to a Masters of Divinity from Duke University.
