Adolescent Problem Behavior
The Center's research into the prevention and causes of youth violence began in the mid-1980s. Problem behaviors in adolescents can have serious consequences for the adolescents, their family and friends, their schools, and society. Our researchers work to understand and help create healthy home, school and community environments free of violence, and seek to help youth at risk for violent behavior avoid the common failures in school, work and relationships.
